We want to get to the door on the left, but that might be easier said than done. You'll find a door to your left, a film reel on the table and an unlockable door leading back to the main corridor. ![]() The route will lead you to a dining room. When you're done, head through the door to your left, once again being cautious about the Grunt. Embrace all your hours of playing The Orphanage map and tune it, being careful not to alert the patrolling Grunt in the room to your left. Follow the path and you'll wind up in a large living room with a radio receiver. When you have both keys, return to the corridor with the keyholes and unlock the corridor on the right-hand side. Find the two bodies that bear the key emblems you need, making sure to lure the Night Vision Goggle Grunt to the other side of the garden before pulling the key from your corpse. You'll find a very persistent Night Vision Grunt out here as well as several bodies with key emblem tattoos. Head south of the key slots and out into the manor's back garden. Much like in Kill the Snitch, we'll need to find two keys with matching symbols to progress. Head downstairs and you'll find two locked doors. The doors to the stairs descending to the first floor of the mansion will now open. When they're both slotted into position, you'll begin a new objective: See the Words, Hear the Words. When you're ready, make the trip with the records and deposit them in the offices. Dodge them and locate each office before taking the records, making sure the route is clear and you know where you're going considering the records will slow you down. Two Large Grunts are patrolling the halls, as well as Pouncers and Imposters. Which corridor leads to which office is randomized, although you'll be able to figure it out based on the TV screens in each corridor.īe warned that you're not alone up here. It's becoming a pretty common ritual in the community for all present Reagents in the lobby to walk towards the entrance to the corridor and hop up and down in solidarity with your escape, so enjoy your five minutes of fame. Turn around at the end of the corridor and, if your lobby is big enough, say goodbye to all your fellow Reagents. This will indicate that you're ready for your final test, which needs to be undertaken solo.Īccept the form and the corridor to your left will turn red, indicating you can escape. He'll present you with a form for your release. Speak to the Security Officer in the booth opposite the terminal where you select missions in the lobby. Once you have 10, you unlock the passage to Farewell Mansion. The general gist is that the player will need to collect 10 release tokens that are earned by completing Program X trials. The final mission in Outlast Trials' campaign, Farewell Mansion sees the player embark on a solo expedition, visiting the manor they explored in the tutorial in a bid to earn their freedom.
